After being told that her life would come soon to an end because of a cancer, Minnie decides to move into the last available room at a hospice in Hamburg, Germany, in order to address her most unanswerable questions. This terminal hospital ends up being like a hotel where guests are going to die. As time goes by, she begins to suspect that perhaps the deaths taking place there are not as natural as it may seem at first glance. But who would bother to commit murder in a place where death itself is an inescapable conclusion?
